Abstract

Description
What is the status of the roll out of FSC Digital Audit Reporting? That is the focus of this episode of Forest for the Future. FSC Digital Audit reporting was released in a pilot version in October 2020. The project will for the first time bring all FSC audit reports into one structured unified format. This format will collect the same information as in the past but in a much smarter way. And it will ensure that data points from the audit travels from the document to a global database. This will enable FSC to start doing analytics across the FSC certified forest areas, so we can spot trends, address risks and challenges and simply just put ourselves and our system in a position to perform better. In this episode we take a look at how piloting and roll out is progressing in an interview with Joanna Nowakowska, the Deputy Director of FSC Technology and Information Unit and Program Lead for FSCs Data, Analytics, Evaluation and Learning.
