Finally it is here: A stepwise approach into certification for community and family forest owners. It is the world of FSC called the Continuous improvement Procedure and this episode is dedicated to learning much more about it. It is a concept that has been debated in FSC for more than 20 years. But was the concept worth the long wait, what took it so long and what does it mean in practice? To enlighten me on the topic I’ve invited two of the people who have had central roles in making the concept into reality; Vera Santos, our program manager for Community and Family forests and Jens Kanstrup, Senior advisor at the environmental NGO Forest of the World.
