Abstract

Description
How can FSC help establish market access and maintain a market for 6 millions smallholders producing natural rubber, especially in south east Asia, Western Africa and Latin America? FSC has a mission to vastly increase the number of owners of small pieces of land – or smallholders in FSC terminology - worldwide working with FSC. Our own work on value chain development will be instrumental in reaching this goal, as well collaboration with other organisations, NGOs and brands. In this newest episode of Forest for the Future I’ve invited Sean Nyquist, Value Chain Development Officer for natural rubber at FSC, to join me online for a chat on what that actually means and why it the chosen method of FSC.
