About the Portal

The FSC Research Portal is a comprehensive online catalogue designed to simplify the search for publications relevant to FSC stakeholders. It provides access to a wide range of resources — from peer-reviewed scientific articles to grey literature, including reports, theses, and books. The portal features two main categories of publications:

FSC Effect-Related Studies – They assess the outcomes and impacts of FSC certification.

FSC Relevant Studies – They provide up-to-date insights that inform the development of forest management requirements.

In addition, logged-in FSC staff can access concise summaries of key findings from the publications, making the portal a valuable tool for those seeking to ground their work in scientific evidence. The following infographic illustrates the workflows associated with the research portal.
